What to expect?

Movement educator and Moving Fascia® creator Ana Barretxeguren introduces online course Breathing As One

Explore the dimensions of breath

Fascial, muscular, neural, fluid…

A two part online course bringing wholeness to breath through lectures and experiential workshops led by Ana Barretxeguren. All lectures and practical sessions are pre-recorded and available to watch for 3 months.

Each part starts with a lecture, followed by an experiential movement workshop and discussion. In the movement sessions, we will explore self release and movement techniques enhancing mobility, awareness, stability and integration of full body breath.

Topics covered in Part 1:

  • The thorax cave
  • The pulse of breath and the autonomic nervous system
  • The thoracic diaphragm as a starting point to unravel connections from the inside out.
  • Pericardium and pleura, visceral relationships of breath to the rib basket.

Topics covered in Part 2

  • Abdominal chamber
  • The pulse of breath and vagal tone (following from day 1 on autonomic response)
  • Peritoneum, the visceral space, breath and intra-abdominal pressure
  • Relationships: Abdominal wall, thorax lumbar fascia, breathing diaphragm and pelvic diaphragm.

PLEASE NOTE:
You will need a roller and a massage ball for the self release and movement sessions. It’s preferable that you have a soft roller but any roller will do. If you're not able to use a roller and/or ball, drop us an email and we can make suggestions for alternatives.
